MCA submitted its objections to the latest application from William Davis for a major housing development of 423 homes above Gritstone Road. The Council has since decided to refuse the application. However, William Davis have now appealed to the Planning Inspectorate.
See details of a major scheme to re-develop Halldale Quarry. This involves 220 dwellings, commercial buildings and a “village centre”. MCA is in discussion with the developers about the design.
Derbyshire County Council have announced that they are seeking options for the future re-development of County Hall in Matlock.
