The County Council has announced its desire to re-develop County Hall. Because of the major impact that this will have upon the town and surrounding area, MCA is preparing a response to the consultation.
MCA submitted its objections to the latest application from William Davis for a major housing development of 423 homes above Gritstone Road. The Council has since decided to refuse the application. However, William Davis have now appealed to the Planning Inspectorate.
See details of a major scheme to re-develop Halldale Quarry. This involves 220 dwellings, commercial buildings and a “village centre”. MCA is in discussion with the developers about the design.
