Flood Defences in Matlock

Published by admin on

The Environment Agency has announced that the major flood defence wall in Matlock has now been completed. However the work will not finished until the autumn as the stone cladding to the steel curtain wall needs to be added. The project has required 200 cubic metres of concrete and eight tons of steel reinforcement. For more details of the project please follow link. The traffic restrictions on Matlock sBridge (and the consequent major disruption) will therefore continue until the autumn.
